Interesting Moves in Bronco Land

First off, Jake Van Ginkel is not with the team in fall camp.  There was room for 105 Broncos and he didn't make the cut.  Incoming freshman Sean Wale did.


Armand Nance, who was recruited as a tight end, will switch to the defensive line.  


We're sad to report that Cory Yriarte is out for the year.  Was really hoping this would be his year but he couldn't shake the injury bug.


And wide receiver Geraldo Boldewijn is out for four games because he and his host family didn't learn from the problems that resulted in last year's suspension.  I knew about this for some time but couldn't report on it until the news broke.

Boise State's TV Share in Big East

According to a report in the New York Daily News, Boise State will be earning approximately $10 million for its football program in Big East Conference television revenue when the Broncos begin play next fall.  That's a big gain from the $800,000 Boise State earns in the Mountain West.


Not to mention the interest of the Orange Bowl in guaranteeing the Big East Champion a spot in their bowl!
