Blue Football Through and Through Top 25

Nearly all Top 25's you saw last week had West Virginia ranked, meaning a shakeup in the rankings.  Blue Through and Through had them properly ranked, and did not need a new team in the Top 25 when West Virginia lost to Oklahoma State.  Nearly all rankings had Georgia behind Alabama--as you can plainly see from Alabama's 38-10 win at Georgia, the Tide is the better team, just as Blue Through and Through had them last week.  Some pollsters and national broadcasters were shocked when Florida beat Mississippi.  We were not, as Blue Through and Through had Florida #14 last week.  The other rankings listed them near the bottom of their Top 25.  As a consequence, you will likely see them still have Mississippi ranked ahead of Florida, despite the 38-10 trouncing.

The other rankings did have Baylor ranked ahead of where Blue Through and Through had them, but prior to their win over Texas Tech, the Bears' biggest win was over SMU.

Former Boise State Broncos in the NFL--Week Three

BOISE, Idaho--While we expect that many Broncos are not satisfied until every former Bronco player has been named Most Valuable Player in the Super Bowl, former players continue to play vital roles for their National Football League team.

Jay Ajayi, Running Back, Miami Dolphins

Jay suffered a rib injury in the final preseason game, but is now in the Injured Reserve-designated to return list.  Ajayi is eligible to return after Week 6.

Richie Brockel, Fullback, Carolina Panthers

Richie returned from a shoulder injury and played in his first game this season, helping Carolina defeat New Orleans 27-22

Ryan Clady, Tackle, Denver Broncos

Ryan suffered an ACL injury prior to the beginning of the NFL season that will keep him out of action this year.

Tyrone Crawford, Defensive Tackle, Dallas Cowboys

Crawford started this past weekend as Dallas lost their first game of the season, 39-28 to Atlanta.

George Iloka, Safety, Cincinnati Bengals

Iloka started Sunday and had two tackles (one solo) in helping the Bengals defeat Baltimore on the road, 28-24.

Charles Leno, Offensive Tackle, Chicago Bears

Shea McClellin, Linebacker, Chicago Bears

McClellin started for Chicago, recording six tackles, three of them solo, the the Bears' loss to Seattle.

Kellen Moore, Quarterback, Dallas Cowboys

Moore was activated prior to Sunday's game, but did not play in Dallas's 39-28 loss to Atlanta.
