Miller Walks On at Boise State

The new Boise State coaching staff just got another tremendous deal.  Mike Miller, a 6-5, 290-pound offensive lineman from Jesuit High School in Oregon is a late add to the 2014 recruiting class.

Miller is good enough to be a prized scholarship player, and if all goes well, he will soon get one.  Miller is ranked as one of the Top 10 offensive linemen in Oregon, and gives Harsin and company that size they want from their team.

Lineman Garrett Larson and Athlete Darrell Stewart Commit to Boise State Class of 2015

Fruitland High School offensive lineman Garrett Larson (6-5, 250) and Darrell Stewart, a safety out of Houston, Texas, have saved themselves the trouble of dealing with distractions in their senior football seasons.  They took the pressure off by committing to Boise State.

Stewart (6-1, 190) is an athlete who played both quarterback and safety in high school and had interest from Houston, Iowa, Oklahoma State, Colorado State, Utah State and Arkansas State, while Larson chose Boise State over interest from BYU.  Word is that Stewart is being recruited to play wide receiver.

Boise State's Jeron Johnson Gets Super Bowl Ring

It's what every football player dreams of.  Former Boise State safety Jeron Johnson unfortunately was injured which kept him from playing, but he still gets a Super Bowl ring as a player with the World Champion Seattle Seahawks!  Congrats Jeron!

Edmund Faimalo Commits to Boise State

We were right--a third commit today, and the third JC, as well as the third d-lineman today.  Obviously, Coach Harsin felt the defensive line was thin to bring in three JC's this year.  Edmund Faimalo is the third to commit on this day.  He is from Sacramento City College, a JUCO defensive tackle, 6-3, 270.

We Believe Another Commit to Boise State

We have word that someone else has committed to Boise State, unless it's someone we already told you about.  We will keep checking, but we have evidence to believe that another person has committed in the last hour.

Boise State Gets Commitment from Rondell McNair

Immediate help on the defensive line.  All-Region defensive end Rondell McNair from Contra Costa Community College has made his selection on Twitter, and he will be playing for Boise State.

McNair is 6-4, 250, and had a host of scholarship offers, including Arizona State, Wyoming, New Mexico, San Jose State, Troy and Western Kentucky.

Antoine Turner Has Committed to Boise State

Antoine Turner, a 6-3, 275-pound defensive tackle, has gladly added his name to the growing list of 2014 Boise State football recruits.  Turner from Fullerton College in California, also had interest from Oklahoma, Washington, Utah, Iowa State and Kansas State, but will be playing on the Blue.
