Former Boise State Broncos in the NFL--Week Three

BOISE, Idaho--While we expect that many Broncos are not satisfied until every former Bronco player has been named Most Valuable Player in the Super Bowl, former players continue to play vital roles for their National Football League team.

Jay Ajayi, Running Back, Miami Dolphins

Jay suffered a rib injury in the final preseason game, but is now in the Injured Reserve-designated to return list.  Ajayi is eligible to return after Week 6.

Richie Brockel, Fullback, Carolina Panthers

Richie returned from a shoulder injury and played in his first game this season, helping Carolina defeat New Orleans 27-22

Ryan Clady, Tackle, Denver Broncos

Ryan suffered an ACL injury prior to the beginning of the NFL season that will keep him out of action this year.

Tyrone Crawford, Defensive Tackle, Dallas Cowboys

Crawford started this past weekend as Dallas lost their first game of the season, 39-28 to Atlanta.

George Iloka, Safety, Cincinnati Bengals

Iloka started Sunday and had two tackles (one solo) in helping the Bengals defeat Baltimore on the road, 28-24.

Jeron Johnson, Safety, Washington Redskins

Johnson was credited with a solo tackle in Washington's 32-21 loss to the New York Giants.

DeMarcus Lawrence, Defensive End, Dallas Cowboys

Lawrence started for Dallas and had two tackles, one of them solo, in the loss to the Falcons.

Charles Leno, Offensive Tackle, Chicago Bears

Leno played in Chicago's 26-0 loss to Seattle.

Doug Martin, Running Back, Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Martin started for Tampa Bay, but poor offensive line play limited Martin to 46 yards on 14 carries in a Tampa Bay loss.

Shea McClellin, Linebacker, Chicago Bears

McClellin started for Chicago, recording six tackles, three of them solo, the the Bears' loss to Seattle.

Kellen Moore, Quarterback, Dallas Cowboys

Moore was activated prior to Sunday's game, but did not play in Dallas's 39-28 loss to Atlanta.

Matt Paradis, Center, Denver Broncos

Paradis once again started at center as Denver defeated Detroit 24-12.

Blake Renaud, Fullback, Minnesota Vikings

Renaud was on the practice squad for Minnesota, but was released yesterday by the Vikings.

Orlando Scandrick, Cornerback, Dallas Cowboys

Scandrick will miss the season with a torn ACL suffered in the preseason.

Jamar Taylor, Safety, Miami Dolphins

Taylor had a solo tackle in Miami loss to Buffalo.

Kyle Wilson, Cornerback, New Orleans Saints

Wilson played in the Saints' loss to Carolina.

Billy Winn, Defensive Tackle, Indianapolis Colts

Winn made a tackle-for-loss in the Colt win over Tennessee.
