After finishing with the best four-year record in over 100 years, the returning players of the Boise State football team were served with the news that they are thought to be only the #24 team in the country by Athlon Sports magazine.
This would seem like a challenge to the Broncos, one that should put that chip firmly in place on the shoulder. This is essentially saying that Doug Martin, Shea McClellin, Kellen Moore and the other Bronco seniors, which were indeed an incredible senior class, were largely responsible for Boise State's success and that there isn't much left in the cupboard.
I respectfully disagree and will be coming out with my own preseason poll.
