This Week in the BCS Top 25

With Boise State out of the BCS Top 25 for the first time in seven years. Louisiana Tech is the team set to get what Boise State was unable to achieve once again, a BCS Bowl.  Tech's one loss (to Texas A&M) is looking better all the time.

#1 Alabama, everyone's #1 team except Blue Through and Through, lost to #15 Texas A&M 29-24.
#2 Kansas State dealt a 23-10 setback to TCU.
#3 Oregon broke open a close game for a 52-17 win over California.
#4 Notre Dame took care of Boston College 21-6.
#5 Georgia blanked Auburn 38-0.
#6 Florida got past Louisiana-Lafayette 27-20.
#7 LSU came from behind to beat #21 Mississippi State 37-17.
#8 South Carolina turned back Arkansas 38-20.
#9 Louisville fell to Syracuse 45-26.
#10 Florida State beat Virginia Tech 28-22.
#11 Oregon State lost its second straight, falling to #14 Stanford 27-23.
#12 Oklahoma beat Baylor 42-32.
#13 Clemson creamed Maryland 45-10.
#14 Stanford came from behind to beat #11 Oregon State 27-23.
#15 Texas A&M held off #1 Alabama 29-24.
#16 Nebraska came from behind to beat Penn State 32-23.
#17 Texas whipped Iowa State 33-7.
#18 UCLA held off Washington State 44-36.
#19 USC blasted Arizona State 38-17.
#20 Louisiana Tech outlasted Texas State 62-55.
#21 Mississippi State lost at #7 LSU 37-17.
#22 Texas Tech defeated 41-34 in two overtimes.
#23 Rutgers downed Army 28-7.
#24 Northwestern lost to #27 Michigan 38-31 in overtime.
#25 Toledo lost to Ball State 34-27.

#26 Arizona beat Colorado 56-31.
#27 Michigan defeated #24 Northwestern 38-31 in overtime.
#28 Boise State thrashed Hawai'i 49-14.

San Diego State defeated Air Force 28-9.
Southern Mississippi lost to SMU 34-6.
UNLV lost to Colorado State 33-11.
Nevada lost to Fresno State 52-36.
Wyoming defeated New Mexico 28-23.
Boise State opponent BYU blasted Idaho 52-13.
