2014 Boise State Schedule Becomes Clearer

In the days in which a television network can dictate the date and starting time of college football games, rather than the other way around, something as simple as a schedule can be difficult to ascertain.  This of course increasingly makes it tough for fans to plan ahead, not only which road games they can attend, but which games they can attend at all.

But as of today, the situation for Bronco fans isn't quite as murky as it was.  The Mountain West Conference has announced its national television schedule today, and that means gametime for the Colorado State game is now set.  Boise State will host the Rams September 6 in the league opener at 8:15 p.m. in Bronco Stadium.  The game will be televised on ESPN2.

Four games will be televised by CBS Sports Network, which isn't near as undecided as ESPN is about when games will be.  The Louisiana-Lafayette game is set for 8:30 p.m. on Saturday, September 20 in Boise.  The Broncos will travel to Air Force the following Saturday for a 5 p.m. game, then travel to Nevada on Saturday, October 4 (8:30 p.m.) and travel to New Mexico Saturday, November 8 for a 5 p.m. game.

We also know now the dates of three other Boise State conference games:  San Diego State (November 15), Wyoming (November 22) and Utah State (November 29) will be televised on one of the ESPN stations.  What is yet to be determined for those games is the time and exactly which network will televise them.

Always check the Schedule Tab for the most up-to-date information on Boise State's schedule.
