Returning starting quarterback Grant Hedrick is making a strong push to keep his job. Hedrick was named by head coach Bryan Harsin as the Player of the Day for Tuesday's practice.
Harsin also tabbed defensive tackle Justin Taimatuia as the Defensive Player of the Day, senior kicker Dan Goodale as Special Teams Player of the Day, wide receiver Troy Ware as Playmaker of the Day and cornerback Donte Deayon Ballhawk. The Bronco tight ends were named as the Group of the Day.
Boise State concludes their spring practices with the annual Spring Game this Saturday at 5 p.m. in Bronco Stadium.
