Boise State Ties NCAA Modern Record with 96-4 Home Record Since 1999

With tonight's 37-27 win in Bronco Stadium over Fresno State, Boise State has a 96-4 home record in its last 100 games.  That ties the legendary Nebraska Cornhuskers, which rolled to a 96-4 record from the Kansas State game of 1987 through the Missouri game of 2002, for the best 100-game home record in the NCAA modern era.  There are only four schools and five better 100-game home records in the history of football:

1. Princeton 99-0-1 (1869-1897)
2. Michigan 97-1-2 (Northwestern game of 1893-Kentucky game of 1908)
2. Notre Dame 97-1-2 (Chicago Medical game of 1901-Beloit game of 1925)
4. Yale 96-1-3 (1877-Chicago A.C. game of 1898)
5. Pennsylvania 98-2 (Rutgers game of 1889-Wesleyan game of 1899)
6. Yale 96-2-2 (Amherst game of 1900-Brown game of 1911)
7 Boise State 96-4 (1999-Fresno State game of 2014)
7. Nebraska 96-4 (Kansas State game of 1987 through the Missouri game of 2002)
9. Alabama 95-4-1 (Tennessee-Chattanooga game of 1908-Samford game of 1940)
10. Harvard 94-3-3 (1890-Columbia game of 1900)
