Damarea Crockett, a 5-11, 206-pound running back from Little Rock Christian Academy in Camden, Arkansas, has committed to the Broncos. Crockett, a highly sought back with offers from Arizona State, Arkansas State, Army, Colorado State, Louisiana Tech, Louisiana-Monroe, Memphis, Navy, Vanderbilt, and Yale and interest from the University of Arkansas, Auburn, Missouri, Mississippi, and Washington announced that he will be playing football for Boise State on his Twitter account.
Crockett rushed 121 times for 696 yards and 13 touchdowns as a sophomore before transferring. At Little Rock Christian, Damarea ran 144 times for 1,250 yards and 19 touchdowns, and caught 19 passes for 2,50 yards last season.
Crockett is rated by one recruiting service as the ninth-best running back in the nation.
