Boise State #3 in Blue Through and Through Top 25 College Football Teams

A wild weekend of college football and this time, it was Boise State that was unscathed.

The goal in any ranking is of course to make sure you get it right.  I rank them, then take a look at them and evaluate if they are ranked in the right spot and then rank them again based on their most recent performance and how their biggest wins and losses stack up given the most recent results.  The best and most accurate ranking is going to be one that changes very little.  In other words, the teams you have ranked continue to win week after week unless they are playing a higher-ranked team.  If you see a poll in which there are radical moves, it meant the voters didn't have the teams ranked right the previous week.  You will notice in this and every week, very minimal moves for the teams.

Just to reiterate, Boise State will always be ahead of any Pac-12 or Big-12 team with the same record because those two conferences failed to give Boise State a tougher schedule when they had the chance.  Thus, the "easier schedule" argument doesn't apply with those two conferences.
