Computer Effects of Games in Week 10

Air Force hosts Army (Air Force has been playing well and can help the Broncos here with a win.)

 TCU plays at Wyoming (TCU has  tie-in to the Big 12 with Baylor so a Wyoming win helps Boise State.)


Georgia hosts New Mexico State (Georgia too has gotten it in gear and their winning helps Boise State.)

Fresno State hosts Louisiana Tech (As a direct opponent of Boise State, Fresno most affects the Broncos' SOS.)

Tulsa beat UCF 24-17.
Baylor hosts Missouri (Baylor was an opponent of TCU and thus affects Boise State's SOS.)

Virginia plays at Maryland (Virginia played Idaho, which, through Nevada and Fresno State, has ties to Boise State.  Thus, a Virginia win would most help Boise State.)

Michigan plays Iowa (Michigan played San Diego State so a Wolverine win is needed here.)

UTEP is at Rice (UTEP is an opponent of Colorado State, so that is the team that would help Boise State.)

Oregon at Washington (Oregon has an outside chance of reaching the title game so a Washington win helps here.)

Hawai'i hosts Utah State (Hawai'i played UNLV and also Colorado .  Utah State has a tie-in to the SEC through its game with Auburn.  A Hawai'i win would help Boise State. 

Navy hosts Troy (Navy was an opponent of Air Force, and Troy has a tie in to the SEC through its game with Arkansas, so this is a pretty important game for Boise State.)

Auburn hosts Mississippi (Auburn played Clemson so a win by Mississippi helps Boise State the most in its quest to move up the BCS Standings.)  

Notre Dame at Wake Forest (Notre Dame plays Stanford so a Wake Forest will help Boise State's SOS standing.)

Texas Tech is at Texas (Texas Tech was an opponent of Nevada and New Mexico, so would help Boise State's SOS.)

Syracuse is at Connecticut (Syracuse was an opponent of Toledo, so a 'Cuse win helps.)

Wisconsin hosts Purdue (Wisconsin played UNLV so a Badger win helps Boise State's SOS.)

SMU hosts Tulane (SMU was an opponent of TCU so they affect Boise State.)

UTEP plays at Rice (UTEP, an opponent of both Colorado State and Tulsa, would help Boise State with a victory.)



Weber State hosts Montana State (Weber played Wyoming so the Wildcats can most help Boise State.)

Undefeated Sam Houston is at Southeastern Louisiana (Sam Houston played New Mexico and its fate is tied to Boise State.)

Portland State hosts Sacramento State (Portland State played TCU so they can most help Boise State.)

Northern Colorado hosts North Dakota.  (N. Colorado played Colorado State and an improbable victory helps Boise State.)

Texas State-San Marcos hosts Prairie View A&M.  (San Marcos played Wyoming and affects Boise State.)

Oklahoma hosts Texas A&M (Oklahoma still has an outside shot at the title game so an A&M win would most help Boise State.  However, a Sooner win helps Boise State in the SOS because they are an opponent of Tulsa.)

Oklahoma State hosts Kansas State (Oklahoma State is #1 in the computers so a Kansas State win helps Boise State the most.  However, Oklahoma State would help Boise State in the SOS with a win because they too were an opponent of Tulsa.)

Alabama vs. LSU (LSU is tied to Oregon, so a win by the Tigers helps both teams.  Thus, an Alabama win would most help Boise State.)

West Virginia hosts Louisville (WV played LSU so a Louisville win helps Boise State the most.)

Duke plays at Miami of Florida (Duke is an opponent of Alabama, so a Miami win helps Boise State in the computer ratings.)

Ball State is at Eastern Michigan (Ball State was an opponent of Oklahoma, so a win by Eastern Michigan helps Boise State.)

Louisiana-Monroe is at Louisiana-Lafayette.  (Monroe was an opponent of TCU and Lafayette was an opponent of Oklahoma State so this is an important game.)

Arizona hosts Utah (Arizona was an opponent of Oklahoma State so a Ute win would help Boise State.)

Western Kentucky hosts Florida International.  (Western Kentucky is an opponent of LSU so a win by International would help Boise State.)

San Jose State plays at Idaho (San Jose State is an opponent of Stanford, so a Vandal win helps Boise State.)

Georgia Southern hosts the Citadel (Georgia Southern played Alabama so a win by the Citadel would most help Boise State.)
