Junior College quarterback Tommy Stuart has committed to play at Boise State, according to several sources. Stuart has three years to play two, meaning he could redshirt. More likely, the Broncos need him right away.
Stuart (6-0, 195) led Butte Community College to the JC national championship with a sparkling 12-0 record last year, helping the team set school records for points and total offense. Stuart said he chose Butte out of high school for its history of producing quarterbacks, including Aaron Rodgers of Green Bay.
Stuart's father played special teams on Idaho State's 1981 Division I-AA national championship team.
