Boise State's Home Record of 95-5 in the Last 100 Games Ranks Seventh in College Football History

Boise State's home record of 95-5 from the Weber State game of 1998 through the present ranks as the seventh-best 100-game home record in college football, right behind Nebraska's 96-4 mark amassed from 1987-2001.

In fact, the Cornhusker mark is the record Boise State is shooting for, trying to eclipse yet another modern record.  If the Broncos are fortunate enough to win their first three games this fall in Bronco Stadium, one of those losses will drop from their last 100 home games, and Boise State would then have a mark of 96-4, tying the famous Nebraska teams.

If Boise State can tie Nebraska with that home mark of 96-4, they'll have to be satisfied with that for a while.  Beginning in 1999, the Broncos put together a home winning streak of 14 games, which means that Boise State needs 18 consecutive home wins to own the modern record by themselves, which would put us into 2016.

The incredible Pennsylvania teams from 1889-1899 and the Princeton Tigers (1881-1900) are in a statistical tie for the all-time college football record.  Penn put together a mark of 99-1 while Princeton was 98-0-2.
