The Boise State football team received future help for its defense with the commitment of linebacker Riley Whimpey. Whimpey will go on a mission and join the 2017 recruiting class.
Whimpey (6-2, 205) committed yesterday to the Fiesta Bowl champions. He broke the existing school record of 115 tackles in a season at San Clemente High School (California) with 172 this past fall.
