Boise State has been mentioned as a serious candidate for the Big 12. There exists the very real possibility that Texas, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State and Texas A&M could still go to the Pac-12, plus a chance that Kansas and Kansas State could be picked off by the Big East.
At a worst case scenario, do you think Boise State should make the leap of faith into the conference? There is the chance that the teams mentioned above would stay, which is a no-brainer. But if they left, Boise State essentially would be "building a conference", looking to add teams to the Big 12. The Big 12 would still have AQ status for the remainder of the BCS period, but in the new period would be re-evaluated. And there's been a lot that has changed and will continue to change since the last evaluation period.
The poll at the top left of the blog asks the question that given all the variables, do you favor a move to the Big 12 or stay in the comfortable and regional environment of the Mountain West?
