Cornerback Donte Deayon has been named Mountain West Conference Special Teams Player of the Week, the league office has announced.
Deayon scored on a 75-yard punt return against Wyoming, the first Bronco punt return for a touchdown since 2010. Donte returned an interception 50 yards for a TD earlier in the year against Connecticut.
A berth in the Mountain West Conference championship game is on the line this Saturday, as the Broncos host 9-3 Utah State. The Aggies are in a three-way tie with Boise State in the Mountain Division with 6-1 records. Kickoff is set for 8:15 p.m. in Albertsons Stadium.
